We bought this as a more affordable alternative to the Rockit and used it with our bedside crib to help settle our baby at night. It worked well for the first few months and became part of our daily routine. However, after about three months, the motor became noticeably loud—so much so that even our white noise machine couldn’t mask the noise. Battery life also declined, and now it needs charging every other day after just 4–5 uses. In hindsight, we wish we had spent the extra money on a Rockit from the start.

Update (11/09/2024): Emailed Zazu for help with the issue. They responded promptly with some instruction to fix. It required a little manual labour like unscrewing, opening and checking the belt. It was the drive belt that came off hence it stopped rocking. After putting in place, all back to normal operation. For the price back, I was expecting it to be more reliable but alteast it was fixable. Product is sturdy but due to mechanical issue, I am not sure if I would recommend but if no other choice, its okay buy it. May be if you are lucky, you wont have issue like mine :P First Review: Bought in July and now broken already. It was very handy and I have used it everyday but if it doesn't even last a year, I wouldn't recommend to anyone untill they make it reliable!! Would I get a replacement or refund???

As with other reviewers, my Zazu rocker stopped working after 1.5 months. It worked great at first, then after a month it started to get really noisy. The cause of the noise is a silicon band inside which stretches from use and becomes loose on the pulleys. Clearly not fit for purpose. Even with the noise it continued to work for a few more days, then it would not turn off. Holding the off button would turn off the power lights but the motor just slowed a bit and continued to run. Very disappointing.

Purtroppo, ho scoperto che al mio bimbo piace il movimento avanti-indietro, mentre questo dispositivo oscilla solo lateralmente (destra-sinistra). Per questo motivo ho dovuto arrangiarmi con una soluzione alternativa. Detto questo, credo sia un ottimo aiuto per quei bambini che gradiscono questo tipo di movimento. È sicuramente un prodotto valido e pratico, ma come spesso accade con i più piccoli… tutto dipende dalle loro preferenze!

Unser Sohn hat die Angewohnheit während des Spazierengehens ein Nickerchen zu machen, aber ziemlich schnell wieder aufzuwachen, wenn wir wieder Zuhause sind und sein Kinderwagen (mit ihm darin) wieder stillsteht. Seit wir den Rocker haben schläft er auch dann noch eine gute Zeit weiter, sodass man wertvolle Bonuszeit geschenkt bekommt für Dinge zu denen man sonst nicht käme - nicht nur durch den längeren Schlaf sondern auch, weil der Rocker einem das Schaukeln des Wagens abnimmt, wo man sonst permanent bei bleiben müsste. Das Gerät kann entweder Zuhause per USB-C oder auch unterwegs mit einer Powerbank geladen werden (sogar während des Betriebs). Die Stärke der Bewegung kann man variieren und durch die Feststellschnalle überträgt sich diese auch gut und ziemlich verlustfrei auf den Kinderwagen. Die Akkulaufzeit reicht bei Vollladung für mehrere Stunden aus.
